Dear Red Elvis's, Hello, My name is Teen Velour. I am the drummer for a Burlesqe show called Rushin'Roulettes/Von Hodads. We opened for you guys at the Grand Emporium in K.C on 9/26/03. If my memory serves me...The Band asked the girls of our show back up on stage for an enchore with you guys...Anyway we are busy and the act is getting better all the time. We will also soon have a website up.We are looking to play some shows in California perhaps this summer...The Pier @ Santa Monica... could be a candidate... You crazy Red Elvises are the greatest thing since toast. My mom is from Russia and when i asked her to translate the lyrics on an import cd, she shook her head and said something about ridiculous mumbo jumbo. It doesn't get any better than that. I saw a show at the Club Cafe. I think I was the youngest girl there, but that's ok. I got to see someone's mom belly dancing on stage, and that doesn't happen every day.

Well in case there are still any doubters out there it has been confirmed by the Red Elvi himself (Igor) that Adam and Shurm are gone (see the Red Pages interview). So I guess that means you guys can finally remove the picture on the front page right? Also Igor says the Red Elvises will have (finally) a new cd April 3 (and in English, thank you!) This is a great time to be a Red Elives fan, and even a fan of former Red Elvi Zhenya "ZRok" Rock, who will have a new cd later this month as well. Now let the debate begin as to who's cd is better. Hopefully we'll get word on who the new guys in the band will be, pics, bios, etc. etc. Oh, and Igor said they'll finally have new posters, t-shirts, and stuff. About time dude, you've been passing stuff off with ex-members Zhenya and Avi for too long now. Hope to see you guys in the near future.

Saturday night's show at Rusty's was absolutely terrific!! The new guys are Craig, Roman and Alex, and all are very talented and contribute a lot of energy, fun and great music. The new lineup is f-ing fantastic. Igor, thanks for the good times, hope you had fun at the beach. I came back burned as usual... sorry I forgot your b-day anchovies. unbelievable.... I was a few years ago in California (L.A.) and there I saw a band that played songs of "Pulp Fiction" and more... I was faszinated and never forget the name of the band, because I thought this is the right band for Europe. At this time of my life I worked in the music business and was allways looking for new bands... but my life changed and also my job... and now.. nearly 10 years later I was in VIENNA, and there a walked into a record shop and listened to different music, also to a record that was played in this store with some kind of music I never heard before... It was a compilation called "RUSSIAN DISCO"... After I heard a few seconds of different songs, I bought th cd and drove back to germany... Now... two weeks later, I was looking at the booklet and.. I couldn't and can't believe... My absolutly favourite song on this album is track number 4 called "The cosmonaut petrov" from Red Elvises... You guys were awesome last night in Lost Almost, I mean Los Alamos. Thanks so much for coming - we dont often do dancing like that here :). It was great to meet Sasha, Roman and Craig - you guys are awesome - great complement to Igor's and Oleg's energy levels!
